Choi+Shine建造所的作品是有形的、可栖息的、可互动的。作品创造了一个内部空间，邀请观众去占有和触碰，同时也将人作为艺术作品的一个组成部分。这是一种空间的体验，一种触觉的表达。作品的每一部分都被许多人触摸过，并邀请更多的人来与它接触。作品寻觅的是与光、影、风、水等自然元素的互动，光影是作品的关键部分，为其增添了空灵的维度。倒影模糊抑或扭曲了边界，挑战了现实领域及其感知。置身于作品中时，掩蔽的蕾丝形态创造出新的窗口，观众沉浸其中，过滤现实，重拾美的意义。           

 

Choi+Shine Architects’ works are tangible, inhabitable and interactive. The work creates a space within to invite the audience to occupy and touch, while staging people as an integral element of the artwork. It is a spatial experience, a tactile expression. Every part of the work is touched by the many people who made the artwork and invites more hands to touch it. The works are designed to interact with natural elements: light, shadow, wind and water. Light and shadow are critical parts of the artwork, adding ethereal dimensions to the work. Reflections obscure or distort the boundaries, challenging the realm of reality and its perception. When the audience occupies the work, the sheltering lace creates new windows within which we filter the existing and rediscover the beauty around us.

      Choi+Shine 建造所（Choi+Shine Architects，美国/荷兰）是由崔珍（Jin Choi）和托马斯·夏因（Thomas Shine）在阿姆斯特丹和波士顿两地创立的国际艺术设计工作室。他们的作品曾在世界各地的博物馆和画廊展出，并被《BBC》、《CNN》、《费加罗报》、《晚邮报》和《卫报》等主流媒体报道。

      崔珍的作品在全球顶级场馆展出并发表，2013年被韩国建筑师协会评为“全球青年建筑师”。她现任阿姆斯特丹灯光节的首席策展人，并与托马斯·夏因共同发明了多项专利作品。托马斯·夏因现任教于耶鲁大学建筑学院。

 

Choi+Shine Architects is an internationally awarded art and design studio established by Jin Choi and Thomas Shine. Their works have been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide and published in major press, including the BBC, CNN, Le Figaro, Corriere della Sera and The Guardian. 

 

Jin Choi's work has been published and exhibited at world class venues and In 2013, she was selected by The Korean Institute of Architects as a “Global Young Architect”. She is the Lead Curator at the Amsterdam Light Festival and is the co-inventor of several patented works with Thomas Shine.
